This  was the fashion of certain young girls in the big cities in Japan in the fall of 2000. The heels of the these platform shoes are so big that many girls fall and break their ankles. Accidents have became so common that some people in the government have talked of making laws to prohibit the style.  The other part of the "look" is the mini skirt, died blonde or red hair, white or blue eye shadow. The news is that the fashion for big shoes is already over in Tokyo. What's next?
