Molecules guitarist Anderson and various Bay Area experimental cohorts have made a hostile, abrasive noise assault best epitomized by the back cover art of a musician getting fucked in the head by a giant dog with an extra snake head--and I mean that in the best way. There's a little Avant-garde Jazz here, some electronic processing, a tiny amount of Metal bluster in some riffs, and a general delight in barely controlled sonic chaos. It is listenable, in fact enjoyable and exciting.  by Steve Holtje
